Bullying

I think schools and law enforcement are doing what they can to stop bullying but no matter what anyone does it will never stop. With all the new social media sites coming up all the time bullying is out of everyones hands. Yes i agree no one should be afriad to come to school in fear of being bullied and with all these new campange and talk groups that kids go to which helps kids heal from bulling. Kids are taking their lives do to bulling and its wrong like it shouldnt happen and it makes anyone sick to their stomach knowing theres nothing that can be do to stop it.

The lasting effects of bulling could could as far as death kids young as 10 years old kill themself everyday due to bulling everyday it happens its always on the news some kids death caused by bulling leaves a lasting impact on this world like Pheobe Prince a new student from irealand was bullied by a pack of students from her new school and went home and hung herself. Studies have proven that kids from will experiance some form of bulling in school and that brings me back to how bulling will never end. The suicide rate has gone up in few passing years due to bulling and its rediculous no parent or family or child should kill themself cause of other kids giving them a hard time and no family member or parent should come home and find their dead child.

It takes courage to stop being a bully. Just because you’ve been involved in it doesn’t mean you have to continue. Help with bullying is not only available to those who've been bullied. Many anti-bullying support groups also help people who are involved in bullying many celeberties have their own "stop bulling campanges" and there is constant help offered to students who feel bullied and the problems are adressed majorty of the time. Bullies are not just that one big kid on the play ground whos looking to take your lunch money bulling comes in different shape and forms of people the smalliest thing could be considered a bulling slure.

Where does bulling happen? The answer to that is everywhere you look it happens at school at home on the internet your social medias. Some socail medias have the option to post as "annoynmous" such as formspring or ask.com. Facebook is a big factor in cyber bulling all the facebook fights you hear about are such bulling tactics its insane. Twitter people indirect tweet about people mean things to thats considered bulling. I think in my own opinion everyone should just leave each other alone no ones perfect and somethings that you think would be "weird" are normal to people and makes them happy so the bullings at school and on websites should stop if you have a personal problem with someone talk it out dont taunt somone till that person feels the need to take their own life its wrong and needs to stop but as far as law enforecement and school officals and parents are spreading the word about making bulling stop then the world should gradually become a better place.

Goverment privecy invasion

I in way think the goverment is doing their job because it's invasion of privecy but at the same ttime they're doing what they can to protect the country. For example the boston bombing the news leaked one of the bombers texts messeges which helped the case and gave more evidence to prove that one of the suspects was guilty of bombing like that invaded his privecy but helped out the country. The news/media always leaks things to the public that invades peoples privecy and that will humiluate them but it will protect the country so they do it anyways. So yes i agree with what the goverment does to help the country ..if people dont want their privcy being invaded then they should commite crimes for the goverment to get involved.

Why I Love Cheerleading

Ever since my dad has been a high school football coach and growing up around cheerleading and football I have been obsessed with the sport of cheerleading. It all really started when I was 4 I went to one of my dad's football games and I would watch the high school cheerleaders do their stunts/flips/cheers, it all looked so cool to me and the story I hear more then often from my mom is when I randomly started teaching myself how to do everything the older girls were doing such as kart wheels being loud and preppy. Needless to say I got hooked on the sport so my parents thought "why not give it a shot" so I entered a league called Pop Warner for ages 4-14 and I started on a team called "I" team as a mascot I loved everything about I always looked forward to practices and games. After awhile of cheerleading on pop warner for years I made my high school varsity cheerleading team as a freshman ..it was always a goal/dream of mine ever since I was 4 I couldn't have been more proud of myself being on a varsity cheerleading team was the best experience I could ever had. My parents were also very proud of me, but the reason why I love it so much is because cheerleading is more then the competing/games and things it builds character and self esteem, it makes friendships and bonds that cant ever be broken or forgotten. As a team you're all going to have disagreements but that's what happens when you put 14+ girls on one team but never do I ever regret sticking with cheerleading I left cheer once to try other sports but quit those and went right back and picked up my pom pom 's and continued to do what I love. But just because I love cheerleading doesn't mean its for everyone the sport is very physical and mentally demanding and tiring& stressful keeping up with 5/6 classes at school and then having school Monday- Friday 6hrs a day then going to practice for 2/3 hrs going home doing homework showering and eating dinner trying to get to bed before 11 is nearly impossible but do able you just have to have dedication to what you do and I do. I would never want to do any other sport but cheerleading I love it to much to quit.

The way the bombing of the Boston Marathon effected me and my family was in little ways like my mother works at Beth Israel hospital in Boston where many victims were brought to right after the bombing not to mention the suspects where treated there. My mother worked on the older brother who died first and also as the huge manhunt was going on in Boston while the Boston community and police where looking for the younger brother the city was put on lock down and I couldn't get ahold of my mom which was very scary, she was stuck at work while I was home alone watching this all unfold on the television, so in that way it effected me and my family. The way I feel towards this whole tragedy is strong personally I could never ever in my life have respect towards the bomber he knew what he did was beyond awful he took 4 lives and harmed many who were there at this marathon innocently watching their loved ones but instead get to spend their days in hospitals going through surgery after surgery, some people lost arms ,legs ect. If the 19 year old survives I personally think he should suffer for life in jail. Boston become a stronger city from this so he wont be let off easy.

My views on tanning.

My views on tanning are probably very different from many other people but there are facts behind why tanning is also good for you. For starters it cheers you up because the sunshine makes the serotonin level higher another which is apparently the body's happy hormone which is why people who tend to tan or get a lot of sun are more happy then a person who doesn't. Personally since ive started tanning which was a year ago this month my self esteem level and the way I think of myself has gotten so much better and that's a proven fact that being tan increases your self esteem level by a lot, yes tanning causes skin cancer but it also helps your skin with acne, tanning clears up acne which it clears mine up. Another fact is it helps with aches and pains and decreases your stress level. After a long day at school or whatever I always try to make it to tanning because it clears my mind laying in the tanning bed for 20 minutes just clearing my mind, yea there is also other ways to get rid of stress but everyone has their own stress relievers. Smoking cigarettes causes lung cancer but millions upon millions of people do it just like tanning so people who don't tan and never have probably have a different out look on tanning then people who do tan, like a person who smokes cigs aren't going to sit there and name the things that are wrong with smoking and people who tan aren't going to sit there and name negative things about tanning. Now spray tanning is NO better then UV tanning, spray tanning makes you orange an clogs your pours which causes you to break out heavily. UV tanning gives you that natural bronze glow that the sun would the only difference is that you are laying in a bed. If tanning was so bad like people make it out to be wouldn't the government shut down all tanning salons?....my point here is that you cant judge something you have never tried and tanning isn't for just girls the tanning place I go to many men come in and out of there to get tans. I know when my skin has had enough so until then I like the color I get.

Is Cheerleading a Sport

Is cheerleading a sport?  A lot of people will argue  that cheerleading is not a sport but when in reality it has more injuries then gymnastics it takes a lot to be a cheerleader mental/physical power half the people who say “cheer isn’t a sport” couldn’t do what we do not anyone could just go out on the matt and  toss round off  backhand spring or a full layout it’s not easy  it takes an emotional toll on you to like getting cut from a team is so hard cheerleading takes dedication and time to become a good athlete. I would love to see some people try and do what we do, high school cheerleading is so stressful on us because we have to keep our grades go to practice 5 days a week for 2/3 hrs 5:30 to 7/8:30 then go home shower eat dinner and be up till 11 doing homework that’s due for that day when all stars just have practice 3 days a week they have longer hrs but we all still compete so there isn’t a difference between us. They only have to learn 1 routine for their whole season we as high school cheerleaders have to learn cheers rounding for competition sideline dances and a half time routine...in my personal opinion high school cheer is more demanding memory wise then all star...It’s not easy to pay for either all the expenses of it are hard on families also.
Cheerleading takes a toll on your social life also during your season you have little to no time for friends and that’s hard cause  personally I couldn’t live without my friends always being there and I always feel bad  not being able to give them the time they need.
